Simply put. I've used the Camera connection kit to connect to my iPad to my Casio PX-750 (with Garageband and Pocket Organ). However I get no sound from the speakers. No matter what i've tried. Only when I plug in my headphones to the other available jack do I get sound. I do get a very low volume from the speakers if I pull out the ipad to headphone cable out halfway, but thats it.

Can anyone shed some light on to this, i'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

Not sure I understand your setup and question. The CCK does not pass audio.

If you are playing GB via the CCK using the Casio keyboard, do you get sound from the iPad? You should.

Then, connect a cable from the iPad headphone socket to a set of speakers, or line in in the Casio if it has it.

There are 'devices' few and far that connect USB/midi to iPad and have an audio connection in addition to the headphone socket, but I've not tried them.

Yes, I do get sound from the iPad. I even see the virtual keys move in unison with the keys I play on the Casio. So, no problem there. I've connected the cable from the iPad headphone socket to the Line in of the Casio. Thats when I should get sound from the Casio's speakers, but do not.

However, using that aforementioned setup, when I plug in my headphones into the other Line in of the casio (mine has two line in's), I hear what i should be hearing from the headphones (and naturally no sound from the speakers). Thats what's interesting.

(I've followed the proper, ipad cck to casio usb, ipad to casio line in cable; setup, technically it should work, unless I'm missing something)

Aren't the two line-ins you mention on your Casio for Left and Right stereo? If so what cable are you using to connect the iPad 3.5mm stereo to the line-ins? Sounds like a cable problem here between iPad out to Casio in. Easy to test with any other device, PC, iPhone, iPad music player, etc.

I don't know if they're specifically Right and Left (I think it might be just two headphone line ins). Im using a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable with a 1/4" (6.3mm) adapterbon the casio's end.

Do you think I need a L R designated cable into a single 3.5mm?

I just looked in the user manual of a 750. I could not see any line-ins for connecting an external audio out to use the internal speakers. So I don't think you can do what you want. Perhaps you are confusing headphone out with line-in?

The alternative is to connect the iPad headphone out to a audio amp/speaker such as home hi-fi or audio system.

I very well could be confusing them. I went of on the video here by Casio Australia (or something of the sort) Casio Ipad Integration It says that any modern Casio is compatible with this system. And i've even done the control lock to silence the keyboard noise. The sound i believe demonstrated, is coming from the speakers.

*btw, thanks for sticking through and checking the manual!
