Where can I find out about scales for blues? Its my favourite music genre at the moment but where to start?

You Tube has some pretty good intros if you're willing to dig.

Believe it or not, National Guitar Workshop has a good 3 book series on Blues Piano. It comes with CD's and the first is called "Beginning Blues Piano". It's distributed by Alfred.

The only book I've seen that's any good is "The Blues Scales" Essential Tools for Jazz Improvisation by Dan Greenblatt.

The thing about blues scales is that you need to know when to change keys, so just knowing how to construct the "blues scale" isn't the complete picture.

Yea I understand that blues is more of a feeling than a technique.
Its hard to define.

This is my favorite scales book. Blues scales are covered, too: Dan Haerle
