OP xorbe 500 Post Club Member X Joined: Jul 2012 Posts: 592 Mt View, CA	Everything on YouTube sounds mono-ish for the main piano, and passing through YT is unfortunate transcoding anyways. Any Purgatory Creek or similar high quality recordings around?

Other direct recordings using the same process have turned out much better. The waveforms in Audacity clearly aren't mono, but they don't have much of an audible stereo effect in the end at all. Well that's another trip to GC on the weekend for a direct test!
