Of course the elements, humidity, etc... are/is certainly not good for the tuning stability. Don't know why they need to burn the piano after the last performance. gmf001 Full Member G Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 252 Uxbridge, ON, Canada	the setting reminds me of the old practise huts they had (have?) at the Banff School of Fine Arts (now the Banff Centre). They were scattered thru the woods and they were primarily the home for the string players, but a few had some older upright pianos. It was wonderful playing in the mountain air - the pianos weren't great, but the setting was amazing. One necessary precaution - keeping an eye open for bears and elk on the trail back to the main buildings. Steinway B - 1958 Shigeru SK7
