In a thread, Barb mentioned that she was looking to find some duets for beginners. So yesternight I sat and completed 3 short duets for beginners. They are a tiny bit silly, since they are aimed to young children, but perhaps they can be of use to some of you here, so...

What a nice idea - and cute little pieces - I wonder if I can find a little friend to play with me !

Thanks Nikolas!

That's so kind of you, Nikolas! I wish I could get my kids interested in piano (they chose flute and violin, sigh) so I could play duets with them.

I'm guessing young students will absolutely love your first piece, and fight for the honor of slamming their hand down on the low part of the keyboard at the end. grin

Glad you like them all! smile

Monica: Especially for the first one, it could work on a duet, or even a trio if you want! laugh It should be a fun 30 secs interval to some serious work! grin

Just in time to play this with my daughter!
She's (again) interested in Piano, and it's too difficult to get new material.

Believe it, or not, she can play (by memory) the "Canzone Popolare" of Einaudi (the original, not "my" extended version), and she is starting to play the tricky part of "Indaco" - (middle of pag 3). She loves to hear me play, and she's trying to play the "easy" parts of some pieces, by ear.

Therefore, this is a great opportunity to play with her, and teach her some theory.
Thanks!
