No audio, but I liked this photo:

Apparently, he just started playing a year ago.

Maybe it'll inspire some kids to play.

Very interesting.. Do you have to have a twitter account to view the pic? I don't have one.. I tried clicking on the twitter page but it says it doesn't exist.

Forget the picture, I want to hear him play! smile (Didn't see a recording on the web site, just a photo.)

I already know what he looks like. smile

Interesting, isn't it, that such a stylish guy when it comes to clothes should adopt as his piano-playing style guru Glenn Gould? Kobe is only missing the fingerless gloves...

I like to play after a frustrating drive in traffic.

I wonder if Kobe played as a kid at all? His high school has a very good music program.

Everything visible in the photo is consistent with Yamaha. The music desk, the music desk adjustment, the profile, the leg, the bench, felt color, plate color (allowing for light & shadow) are consistent. That's not conclusive, but it's reasonably likely.

For what's it's worth, Kobe posted that he was playing Beethoven's "Moonlight" Sonata to help blow off steam after a frustrating game.

Must have been the 1st movement-playing the 3rd (or, in my case, trying to play it) tends to raise your frustration level.

I also agree with Sam, as far as what I can see, it looks like a Yamaha.

The LA Yamaha Salespeople should call his agent and try to upgrade him to a CF-III or a Bösendorfer!
