Maybe the first hybrid piano? Afterall, it's got strings.

Oh - I've just been informed there is another, slightly more expensive one.

It's properly referred to as a Thing-a-ma-gig Grande Consolela.

It would be perfect for someone who has a 1937 Cord 812 Sedan sitting in the driveway.

It's much easier to bash a Steinway than it is to play one.

I have no way of knowing if this thing is any good at all or if it's worth anything. However, it looks way cool and I'd love to try it out just for fun.

The speaker system itself probably sounds better than most internal ones in current digital keyboards. They're big enough to actually move some air.

Further information come to light:

"There were two versions offered, one a pure piano, and another with a radio receiver and record changer in the stool . The padded seat opened for the radio. There were two loudspeakers, one on each side. In the radio version, the radio chassis audio section amplified the piano."

With all of the variations, it should be called Storytone & Sons.

It really is dreadful, but interesting.
