What is the best way to clean (keep clean) a digital piano? I have a dust cover. I want to make sure I keep the keys clean. Maybe I am overthinking this issue, but I love my first DP and want to keep it in top shape.

Thanks.

Yes possibly you are.

The dust cover and a very occasional wipe with a damp cloth will be all you'll ever need to use. The Yamaha's keys are just plastic resin so the damp cloth will do no harm at all. Enjoy your new P155!

EssBrace is right. When I owned a Yamaha, I believe the manual stated "...you can occasionally clean your piano with a damp cloth if you want to spoil it..."

Only water should be necessary - I've never had a need for detergent cleaners.

Thank you EssBrace and LesCharles73. I must have missed the cleaning instructions in the manual (I looked everywhere). I appreciate the responses. Happy New Year!

If you always use a dust cover and if you don't play with very dirty hands, it stay clean for a long, long time. You won't need to worry about cleaning it, but when you do get around to it, a moist cloth works well.
