Just wondering if anyone else here is taking Piano exams? I am hoping to take grade 4 in the spring. I like having a goal to work towards. I also learn other pieces so I don't get fed up working on just 3 pieces for a few months.

I know soon I will have to start thinking about learning some theory - my teacher does try and incorporate this in to my weekly lessons but I just don't take it in! I know if I want to carry on with taking the grades I have to pass grade 5 theory! Can anyone recommend anything that might help?

Thanks

could check out www.musictheory.net, but I'd first recommend checking the syllabus and/or consulting with your teacher as to what material is going to be covered so you know what you need to and don't need to know
