It's Fun to Play the Piano ... Please Pass It On!
MAY have to miss tomorrow -- Tuesday -- traveling out of town on business and won't get home until after 10pm.
Ok, Well, I hope you manage to get some music in, but if not let us know.

So... if you get home around midnight instead and practise right then, does it count for this day or the next?
You know, when I see questions like this I think...oh, um...heck, I don't know....lol.
So, after giving it a bit of thought, this is what I think:
If I stay up til 12.15 today and then play the piano (with my headphones!)....it would count for playing today. Tomorrow, after my beauty sleep, I would play again.
We're not looking for black and white don't cross the line rules here - we're looking for what makes sense towards keeping us on track.
Cheers

Well, take me off the pure list. I've missed several days here and there this month. Debating just dropping off but it's a little early to just quit so I'm going to keep trying. Things have been stressful lately, maybe things will mellow out soon and I'll get back into a routine.
I'll figure it out eventually. Until then you may want to keep a safe distance.
Can you put me on the excused list for Sunday and Monday please? I had the flu/cold really bad. I'm improving now, thank god. On Tuesday I was just getting itchy to play. A good sign I'd say!

Glad you are on the mend!!!

Just checking in.. so far this is working. There's been a couple of days where I've been short on time and I was gonna skip it, but I remembered my obligation and sat down and blazed through a couple of short pieces and a Hanon or two

Good for you! Over the year you'll probably find that happening over and over --- you think "Oh, ok, I'll just give it 5 minutes"...and then an hour later you get up from the ivories!

Ding, ding, ding went ... the last few months of 2012! I was most definitely not the master of my piano-practice domain last year. Trying again for 2013. Count me in, Cas.

OK, so I wasn't here on the first of January, but if I understand the rules correctly, I can still join the 'late starters' list, as long as I do it before September 30, 2013, right?
If that's the case, please sign me up. But I would like my start date to be postponed a few days (to January 31), because I sold my digital piano yesterday, and won't have a piano to practice on again until Thursday.
Plodding through piano music at a frustratingly slow pace since 9/2012.
Standard disclaimer: I teach many things. Piano is not one of them.

Ohhh. Does that mean you have a new piano coming home? Be sure to post a thread with pictures. We love to see happy pianos!
