I'm looking for relatively easy (but not too too simple) score for Jingle Bells, for my 7 year old son. He's worked through at least 3 of the Edna Mae Burnham beginner books, and selections of John Thompson etudes and other pieces. He's a fairly quick study. Do you have suggestions? Best would be something free on the net, but I'll entertain anything.
Started playing: February 2011. Still having fun.

JINGLE BELLS If that version is too easy the one note left hand chords could be expanded to two or three notes, or even arpeggiated. -

The 8notes.com version has a bit more meat on the bone. http://www.8notes.com/scores/1523.aspWhile I can't say I like everything that comes from those guys, their Jingle Bells is not bad. Here is the first page, membership costs 38 dollars. http://www.virtualsheetmusic.com/score/ChristmasOffer.html?tab=pdfEdit: Those two versions are in the key of G major, think that key fits the song better.

Thanks very much, to both of you!
Pianotehead - that virtualsheetmusic score is nice, and I really like their free version of Silent Night... I'm tempted to pay the $38 to get the whole schlemiel, but I don't think we can work through more than a handful of scores per year!

I got the membership last year, which will expire in a few days. You're right about only needing a few scores each year. Also, can't really recommend VS, their arrangements are too much of a mass production.
Besides most of the score you get there, you can get for free anyway, all music under copyright, which is simply all music from the 1930's and on, costs up to $5 each song.
Since you mention Silent Night, I can't get over how crazy their advanced version is. Starts off alright, but then it's like the arranger started taking amphetamine or something, the song speeds up with runs up and down the keyboard.

Sorry, I've only just caught up with this thread again, but here's a less simple version of JINGLE BELLS. I thought everyone might be familiar with this WEBSITE.

The problem with Gilbert's de Benedetti Jingle Bells, is that the intro (dashing through the snow...) is missing.
