Sorry Rossy for sensing "BBBBBunfights", it was just a joke, that's why I put the lol smiley smile

Congrats for getting such an opportunity to practice! Good luck! I'm jealous, I can't read even the treble clefs LOL.

I've a good news! I finally managed to purchase a digital piano. It's Casio PX-135. I really love it. My dreams comes true, smile but partially, as I've to work hard and I don't know whether I can ultimately play piano or not. Because I don't have a teacher, first of all, and I don't have enough time. Moreover I can't read sheet frown It seems to me now that playing on laptop keyboard was easier for me smile

Thanks a lot for the link, Rossy. It seems indeed helpful. I feel much relaxed when I remind that I'm connected to PW forum where lots of professional pianists are there. Be ready Rossy 'cause I'm gonna disturb you every time I face problems with piano-learning smile

No worries, I put them up on youtube, and they will still be here when you are feeling better Becca.
Take it easy, and dont overdo it! Especially with the new job, you got to put your health first.
We need you!

Becca- I love that song, I was considering it for one of my eight.....haven't heard anything from Juice (strange name come to think of it) for a while now!
Thanks to Captain K & Rupak for the compliments.

Rupak- you missed a post of mine a while back, in which I offered to adopt you, as I was very impressed with your desire to earn money to purchase a keyboard instead of accepting one as a gift. Rossy then asked me to adopt HIM, but, I declined as your offer was on the table already. smile
Anyways, congrats on the new keyboard and regarding playing piano- if there's a will, there's a way !

I will leave you dudes and dudettes with a joke, I am off to bed to sleep.

During a visit to the mental asylum, a visitor asked the Director what the
criterion was which defined whether or not a patient should be institutionalized.

"Well," said the Director, "we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to empty the bathtub"

"Oh, I understand," said the visitor. "A normal person would use the bucket because it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup.

"No." said the Director, "A normal person would pull the plug out.
Do you want a room with or without a view?"

I'm sorry Rossy to disappoint you this time, as I can't refuse pianojoy's offer! I really wasn't aware of her post as I joined quite lately. If I knew it earlier I wouldn't even let you come second LOL. While reading her DID her I thought many times that she'd be as good as my mom smile Of course my mom is not a pianist but without her love, sacrifice and blessings I'd never fulfill my desire. Anyway, I'd jump on to have a affectionate pianist mom smile Besides, I think you are too old to be adopted laugh But I'm ready to consider you to be my dad laugh
Thank you very much pianojoy (I hate calling you by this name since I read your DID). I gladly accept your offer and from now on I'll call you 'my pianist mom' smile Please accept my respect and regards. Your wish and advice for me will always drive me to reach my dreams.

But I think all the credits should go to Rossy, and then David. They showed a very very rare instance of humanity and nothing can be compared to it!!! Even a father can't support and fight for his son this much which Rossy has done! Kudos, Rossy and David, Kudos. You really deserve as much respect as I have to my father! I'm indebted to you.

Anyway, nice joke Rossy. Good night! Sleep well, and don't have bad dreams such as you found yourself in that asylum, because you've thought about these before going to sleep laugh

Rupak, for the record, I am probably too young to even be your pianist mom
( wink ), but I'll give it a go!
funny thing about names...I'm flirting with using my real name , here someday, just not yet.....I guess I should have from the beginning.

You are right, Rossy has a soft heart - in a very good way!
He can be in charge of giving you an "allowance". grin

(funny joke above)

Hi guys, sorry not to have been around much but I've been painting, sleeping, and playing the harpsichord. The Froberger now sounds musical!! I also tracked down a couple of 'hidden' versions on Youtube, which helped me figure out that I was playing certain notes too slowly.

Right, more harpsichord tonight! And if he gets onto figured bass, I'm going to have a brain attack...

Catch you later Griffin. ( what happened to the PM?)

Will post some music later dudes and dudettes.

I'm sure I'm not too old yet, mom grin

Here are two best ever jokes made with Liszt's too complicated piece: Hungarian Rhapsody II.

How depressing- cartoon characters play far better than I do! Maybe I just need a trained mouse in my piano, too.
BTW, son...notice the title to this thread- SERIOUS! it's supposed to be serious, no joking allowed.

Has this been posted yet (hope not):

oh, and the "my favorite band" are not my words- these guys were a tad bit before my time, I'm happy to report. but not much. smile
(anybody have a good piano arrangement of this?)

Good morning everyone! I hope everyone is well. I've been enjoying the posts. Rupak, I remember some of those cartoons, and I suspect I'm the old man around here! LOL!!!

Rossy, you didn't get a PM because I forgot!! Thanks for the reminder.

I'm still busy with projects, and will probably do most of my postings this weekend. However, PianoJoy, your posting motivated me to post one of my Beetles songs.

I'll be checking in later. Enjoy your day!
