Can anyone who own or tried a Kawai GE-30 tell me the touch of the Kawai GE-30?
My daughter hasn't tried it yet, but piano teacher said to stay away from light touch piano, as young pianist need to train fingers.

How do you describe the touch of the K-6 upright?

Thanks.

teacher is correct on the training of the fingers.

also consider you don't want a piano with heavy touch for young kids either. they'll get tired too quick. you kinda want a piano with touch in the middle on a scale of 1-10 (1, being the lightest and 10 being heaviest) would be my choice.

i'd rate my K8 a 5 or 6 on the touch scale. only way to rate touch is by playing the instrument. i imagine the Kawai K series uprights are pretty consistent however so i don't believe you'll play a K6 with a 3 or 8 on the touch scale wink

Thank you for your feedback on K upright. Too bad I have to depend on my child to decide, I can't play piano myself.
