Hello!

Could someone PLEASE help me identify what this song is.. i learned the beginning part of it a long time ago from a friend.
Unfortunately, he does not know what it is called or who it is composed by. ANY suggestions might help.

Thank you!!

Sounds like a take off on the song "River Flows In You" by Yiruma.

Definitely sounds like an improvisation.. I would second Works1's quote.

I dunno about the song, but it's a nice picture of a piano keyboard.

Of course it is a song! It is a song my dear old grandmother used to hum to me at bedtime -- or perhaps it could have been my mother, yodeling while disciplining me -- or maybe it was my ex-wife, swooning. Wait! The mailman used to whistle this song when he was making his rounds.

Anyway, Morodiene, the "song part" starts after that melodious and intriguing introduction . . . . .

(I hope I win!)

AFAIK, if you remove the words from a song, what is left is a tune or a melody.

Very helpful tip. Soooo - were you able to use this wonderful tool to identify the "song" in question?

(This thread is getting better all the time!)

By the way, mirindaisy, welcome to the forums.
