I guess this applies over the range, natural and digital - Does anybody find that the black keys could do with being a tad thinner, for those with wider fingers?

If you go into a shoe shop you can get wide shoes . . . .

You have to develope your own technique... angle/tilt your fingers so they go between the black keys smoothly.

Of course, this is one of the reasons I like to play in the key of C so much. smile

Mason and Hamlin rosewood sharps were slightly narrower than "normal" - which would mean the gap is wider.

And older Baldwin sharps were a little taller.

Test the space between the three sharps. It's a little narrower than the space between C# and D# (on almost any keyboard).

They vary. I had trouble getting my fingers between the keys of my piano teacher's first piano, but when she replaced it, it was easier.

You can taper the sharps.
