Hi all and thanks for reading,

I bought a Casio Privia PX330 about 3 weeks ago from Costco.ca (I'm in Canada). I was loving it until about a week ago when the speakers suddenly stopped working. I called Casio tech but all they could do was walk me thru a reset, which didn't help.

They suggested that I either return it to Costco or send it in for service. Problem is, Costco is sold out of the 330 now, and a refund isn't going to allow me to replace the unit with something of similar quality. (It also came with a stand, pedals, and bench.)

BTW, I am using the PX330 as a MIDI controller with Logic Pro as well as a stand-alone piano.

I'm new to digital pianos and I'm wondering if there's some easy fix for the speaker problem that I'm overlooking. Also curious if anyone else has had a similar problem. I searched the boards but couldn't find anything.

Thanks for your help.

Surely it's up to Costco to provide a replacement?

If it is already broken- i would get rid of it and get a refund rather than make the effort of sending it to casio.

Unplug the headphones. More seriously maybe the headphone socket has jammed open. Another thought is you turned on or off local control or equivalent setting if that's available? Although I would expect a factory reset to clear that.

Thanks for your help everyone. After trying everything, including numerous resets, I still had unworking speakers, so I returned it to Costco. I was very sad to see it go.
