Performance times vary and all are slower than "professional" but solid enough to convey brilliance. Chopin "loses it" at a couple of points and maybe re-presented at some point.

Liszt No2 of 12 progressive etudes

Liszt No10 of 12 transcendental etudes

Chopin "winter wind" etude Op25 No11

Given enough time, I'll play anything. Given all time, I'll play everything.

If he had a little too much time on his hands then the recordings wouldn't be this dire

Are you sure you want to play these?

I'm not trying to discourage at all, but... don't you think this monsters of Études are too hards for your technique?

Wouldn't you like to play other easier Études?

If you really like Chopin you could try to play some of his Préludes or, if you want to learn the Études, you could study the Op 10 number 3 or number 6, but he op 25 number 11 is too hard to begin with.

Encouragement and keep working hard as I guess you are doing!! smile

I've seen you post recordings before, but never listened. This time, I decided to jump in. However, I only listened to Liszt 10/12 for now. Couple ideas:

1. Move the mic farther from the piano, and/or reduce the sensitivity so it records what you are playing better.

2. Are you aware that you play the etude at roughly half-speed?

I think that you made a solid effort to play each note correctly. However, if that is as fast and even as you can play it, these etudes might not be the best starting point for you. It is too slow and choppy to convey musical understanding. Certain choices you did make indicate that you may have this ability, even though it did not emanate from this particular performance, so I would encourage you to post performances of pieces you feel you can play flawlessly, and I think you may receive different feedback.

As an aside, I would not post a genuine recording of some of the most difficult piano repertoire, say "it's a little slow" (which is an understatement), and then say "it's still a brilliant performance". This actually detracts from your ability, rather than enhances it.

I hope this was helpful. smile

... to the poster's comments, technique (?) and interpretations (?) which should show that any advice, recommendations, suggestions or comments from others fall on totally deaf ears and are, for us, a total waste of time.

Ah! Deaf ears! That may be the clue to the whole enigma ....

I'm surprised this poster hasn't been banned yet. Maybe Kreisler won't do it until he ruins the Brahms Handel Variations.
