Hello again community !
Ill keep it short . I m looking for a jazzy piece for piano and vocals ( alto ) to preform with my friend at college on a small event we are organizing. I have been searching quite a lot but couldn't find anything to suit me. Can u give me a hints on what would YOU like to hear on such an event and send me links to music sheets ( if they are free ) if you can .
PS Ideally this would be a full music sheet transcription for free . And it would be nice if it was in English as well .
Thanks a lot !

Hey, sounds fun. Ballad vocals are easier to sing. But they are not easy to play. What level are you at ?

I am one step below piano diploma in classical performance but the singer isn't that good so very hard vocals wouldn't be ideal

Satin Doll is easy to sing. You can listen to Nancy Wilson's version.
How comfortable are you at comping (accompaniment in jazz style) - the chord is spread out over both hands e.g. play 2 notes with your LH at the same time as 2 notes with your RH ?

Just make sure your singer sings in C maj and not in some lower key.
