In the Argentine National Shrine at the Basiilica of Lujan stands Cavaille-Coll opus 899, a 3-manual organ built in the early 20th century when Charles Mutin was running the company. The last organist there was Giovanni Bautista Milanese, but after his retirement the instrument fell into disuse and disrepair. Bueno Aires organist Rafael Ferreyra led a team to film it and record it in 1998. His choice of Elgar's 9th Enigma variation to test it makes the video all the more poignant.
