Does anyone has an opinion on Kawai GM-1 in terms of quality and the asking price of around $7,000 for a 1998 (made in Japan)?

Thanks.

I'm looking for a baby grand piano as well. From my two weeks experience for searching a used baby grand, a 14 years old Kawai GM-1 asking $7,000 is a little bit too expensive. May

My dealer told me to avoid the GM series. He had a new one the floor.

Because the newer one is made in Indonesia and seems unloved generally on forums. That said, I heard one a few weeks ago and it was really delightful. That was the newer GM-10.

Not really. Something like not much of a piano, but he knows my preferences (er, biases). I think for the right price and person, it would be very fine piano.
