I paid 33 300 euros for a new black polished concert 8. Is that a good deal? cant someone else here tell me what you paid?

There is a good chance that no PW member has recently purchased this particular piano. Not much point concerning yourself with the price at this point.

A piano ordered specially is likely to have less of a discount than one bought off the floor. Comparing prices may be deceptive because of that.

In any case, nothing is worse for the soul than shopping for something after you have bought it. Just enjoy the piano!

I wouldn't bet on it. Not by a long shot.

I'd be surprised if Bechstein sold 5 concert 8's worldwide in the last year. Just an uneducated guess though...

i played a bechstein academy series once and it was one of the best uprights sound wise i ever heard.. although ive played mainly asian uprights.. and a few schimmels and schulze pollmans.. that concert 8 is probably going to be out of this world.

Lord Blackmourne.. you wouldnt happen to live in southern california would you? i would love to here it played in person.

lying? dunno. not too many folks come around here calling the members "dudes" and don't know when to use plural vs. singular verbs...

... and yet they order a new bechstein from the factory.

we had a guy who fessed up to hacking his brother's account and doing something similar about a year ago. did you decide to just create your own account this time?

Life would be so simple and boring if PW posters would identify themselves and tell where they come from. smile

The C. Bechstein Concert 8 is priced between 34,000 and 38,000 Euros in Germany, so yea, you got a great deal.
Cheers.

How would we know your native language. Your profile is empty.

Using childish, and overly familiar, phrases with people you don't know -- "hey dude" -- won't endear you to many.

Going on the attack, "are you jealous," is a guarantee to bother people, even if you think you were provoked.

Oh, and having a thin skin like that is another way to get ignored very quickly.

Enjoy your piano when it arrives.
