How do DPs like the PX130/330 attach to the purpose-built Casio stands Casio sells for those pianos? In other words, how easy is it to put the DP onto and take it off of the stand? Any tools needed, fasteners, employed, etc., or is it just shape design and gravity that makes it work?

There are 4 wing nuts that hold the keyboard on the stand from underneath. Pop those off and the keyboard lifts right up. (Just assembled mine last Friday.)

Ah, also there is a square metal reinforcement tube added to the bottom of the keyboard held by 2 screws -- so it won't sit flat on a table until that bar is removed again.

Thanks! Sounds easy enough.

Did you get the three-pedal attachment that they also sell to go with the stand? If so, how well does that work?

I did get the SP-32 ... didn't really need it, but for $49 it does add rigidity to the stand, and looks nice. Apparently it adds half-pedaling sustain, but that's beyond me at this point.

Removing from the stand is easy enough. Removing the steel reinforcement bar is easy if only slightly awkward. The SP-32 pedals work very well and are well worth the cost. It also gives the piano a finished, console-like look. xorbe, you'll grow to appreciate having them for sure.

Are you looking to pull the trigger on a 130/330 or are you waiting for the 150/350? I'm actually still waiting for Casio to take my order on the new models. frown I'm trying to time it right because I'm nearly out of 130's and 330's.

Sam, I think I'll hold out for the 150 or 350. With any luck, I'll be able to break my NP-11 between now and then.

I purchased a heavy duty model X stage stand for my PX130. Just a preference.
