Hello everyone,
Can someone recommend a piano teacher in or around the Woodlands, TX? We have been very fortunate finding an amazing teacher where we are right now, but it's time for a move and I'd like to find a new teacher for our kids. I'd really appreciate any tips. Thanks so much!

Hi -- I am located in the Clear Lake area.

Conroe Music Teachers Association serves your area and has a listing of members on their website:

Good luck!

Thank you, ezpiano, for your kind suggestion. I merely ask here because we were led to our previous teacher through this forum and I wished to get so lucky again.

Thanks, pianoeagle. I had looked at Houston Music Teachers' association but they didn't have a directory. The website you suggest has more information. Much appreciated.

You should know your teacher position job description, job qualifications then, teacher technical interview questions…, you can ref some questions as below:

Tell me about yourself?
What kind of salary are you looking for Teacher?
What are your career goals for teacher?
How many years of experience do you have for Teacher position?
How do you plan when starting a new study unit or topic with your class?
Tell me how you develop your daily lesson plan and what do you include?
Describe your teaching style?
Would you be interested in participating in after- school activities?
How have you used, or how will you use technology in the classroom?
What type of classroom management structure would you implement if you were hired?

You can ref more 170 teacher interview questions & answers at: self promoting link removed....

Or you could just drive out the 55 miles each way to Clear Lake to join my studio :-) J/K. If you can't find any teachers you like through the Conroe MTA, contact the music school at the local community college, and for sure they can give you a good referral.

And all along I thought they were two different people, both studying with the same English as a Fifth Language teacher.

In music, everything one does correctly helps everything else.

Please!
That gives English language teachers a bad name! Surely they sound self-(non) taught, possibly even by each other.

No kidding.
Stuff like this makes it worse than a wasteland--like a recycling or rubbish bin.
