Hi ,
After doing some measuring(got an old caliper from my brother):
the front of the pin is about 4.5mm=(0.18 inch)
the diameter of the pin is about 6.5mm=(0.26 inch)

my 'new octave' tips #1 and #2 are much too loose for it - couldn't get a grip at all !(not even close)

btw, this lever + tips works on other pianos just fine
i.e. grand Yamaha and other old german piano I've checked

please advice,

Older pianos : old tuning lever, or very thin tip, nothing sold by "new octave" see professionals...

I am in Europe so it is easier, Jahnn, or even Baumgärtel sells little tips for standard tuning levers. I use an old lever from the 30's , I seem to recall that there are Hale extra small tips sold in USA
