This from Ed Berlin, noted ragtime historian, on a ragtime BB (Elite Syncopations):

After pulling into Barcelona this morning, we headed over to the vintage Hotel Cuartro Nacciones. The hotel has a lounge named Salo Chopin, decorated with pictures of famous guests . . . Buffalo Bill, Sarosoto, Albert Einstein, . . . Behind the pictures of Chopin and George Sand is music notation. Looking closer to see which 19th-C gem was selected to represent Chopin, I found one of the greatest masterpieces of the century -- the 2nd strain of the Maple Leaf Rag.
