Hey everyone. I am getting a Yamaha P155 in a few weeks, and i already own a stand for a 38 pound digital piano but i am not quite sure of the name of the stand. It has one bar on each, but it is big. The P155 is only 3 pounds more but it does seem wider. I had a dealer tell me that mine would work, i don't know if it will shake at all because it's really annoying. I seen a few people with double bar stands like the ones for workstations on the P155, but i don't know if it is necessary.

Can someone please help me know of a good stand for a 41 pound keyboard? If the one i already have will work (which i don't know the name it might be a Proline PL200.) Oh and i prefer a height adjustable stand for portability.

Thanks for any help i appreciate a lot! smile

Daniel.

This is my favorite one. It works great for all my keyboards big and small inlcuding my new CP5.
And only about $50.00!

I use this one for gigging. Quiklok WS550. Solid and feels very hefty.

I have the On-Stage Z-style heavy duty stand. It's solid as a rock and wasn't very expensive. I think it's model KS7350. I used to go crazy with the shaking back when I had an x-style stand and it was in the way of my legs too.

I haven't tried it, but the quicklok just mentioned above is recommended VERY often in these forums. Based on that I'd say it's a safe bet.

Yeah i will think about it, I totally agree with you on the leg space issue with X style stands. would this work for a 38-15 pound 88 keyboards? I need one also that will work for gigs. Thanks for all the help. laugh

DanTheMan14, I have one, albeit with a fairly light KB, the MOX8. The specs say it will support up to 230# and while I don't know about THAT much, it is extremely sturdy, doesn't wobble or rattle, there is space for pedals and your legs, and it breaks down easily. I'm quite pleased with mine.

Hi Daniel, for home use I would buy the original Yamaha stand model ref.: L-140.

I used to have a P140 on it and it was nice and solid.

Luis
