Hi Everyone,

Here is our interview with George Li. Here, the prodigy talks about practice hours, his thoughts on piano competitions, and meeting President Obama.

Hope you all have a great weekend, and as always, thank you for reading smile

Next interview: Daniil Trifonov

Thanks! I like your interviews though I would like them a bit longer.

I particularly liked the details on his practicing that illustrate why he does not consider himself a 'prodigy'. He stuggled with technique like we adult beginners all do, and practices many hours a day.

I attended a George Li performance when he was about 13 yrs old. He is adorable and of course plays beautifully (Mendelssohn Piano Concerto #1).

It was a performance here in Massachusetts, close to his hometown. The most endearing part was that after he performed, he came down and sat in the audience for the rest of the concert, horsing around with a bunch of his school friends. So mature on stage, such a normal young teen when not performing.
