Hello folks,

Who has tried the possibility of the finger excersises on the Kawai CA 63? Would love to hear something about it.

manf, the Finger Exercises feature of the CA93/CA63 and CS9/CS6 is an extension of the Lesson Function, adding Hanon drills, scales, and arpeggios.

After listening to the exercise, the user presses the record button and plays along with the selected exercise. When the exercise has finished, the instrument analyses the playing and indicates the number of incorrect/out of time notes.

In my opinion, the Finger Exercises (and the wider Lesson Function in general) are a very useful addition to a digital piano - especially for beginners and intermediates that aspire to practise everyday. However, I would consider them a 'bonus' feature, that support the core features of the CA93/CA63 and CS9/CS6 - namely the wooden-key keyboard action and UPHI sound technology.

I hope this helps.

Cheers,
James

Thanks James! I hear you on the wooden keys. I have compared the CA. 63 and the CN 43 today. 43 is good, but I could feel my fingers were like flying on the 63!

As for the scale exercises: would I, as a beginner (like Real beginner!) benefit from it as well?
I wish there were more YouTube video's on the in depth possibilities of both the 63 and 43! :-(

Cheers,
Manf
