Yes, but some folk that would listen to it may not want to download, for various reasons. If you put it up on youtube, you could then post it up here witha direct link , and no one would have to fear downloading something!!
I think you would get more listens..
just an Idea.

Dazzie2, I think that sounded great, especially for only 5 months playing! And by ear, to boot!
I have a couple suggestions. Try to play through your missed notes, it makes for a smoother sound. And just lighten up a little on the left hand so that the melody sings out. Very good first recording.
If you can convert the midi to mp3 and then upload to boxnet, it would be much easier for a lot of people to listen. I have no problem downloading to listen, but some may not want to.

Great! Inspired me.
I never find any wrong note. Its a variation, or impression of Amazing Grace. If must to give a name to the wrong notes, I would like to call it The Perfect Wrong Note!!!
Working on:\
J.S.Bach Prelude in C Min: No. 2 from Six Preludes fur Anfanger auf dem Am Abend No. 2 from Stimmungsbilder, Op. 88 60s Swing No. 1 from Swinging Rhythms

I think i Arranged it more advanced than my Playing it capable of . ITs quite a simple chord progression key C. / Cmaj / dminor/Gmajor/ Fmaj.

Will you name one, please? .. Because I get tired of clearing stuff out of my downloads folder. Thus I tend to roll my eyes and click off to another destination when sites want me to download files which I have no reason to want to keep around forever. It shows much greater web fluency to make such things viewable/payable via the browser. That said, Box.net does offer the ability to make audio files playable via the browser. When people use it, I listen to their files. Otherwise, not.
Please step aside. You're standing in your own way.

That is precisely what I have done with Dazzie's file. I have opened it without downloading it. . .

Will you name one, please? . . Indeed, me. and Tangleweeds sometimes when his download folder gets full. Also, the first link took me to a login page, the second link provided didn,t. If I had found a way to play rather than download, I would have. I can also assure you that this is also the case for others, and can provide links to previous posts where others are also reticent to download... As an example someone uploaded a link to mediafire on PC corner, this tried to open up an instance of partypoker.com AND a dating site when I tried to download the music, The music was then uploaded to a better destination. Its better all round to just be able to play the music rather than download. Forgot to mention, the original poster has now edited his first post so that it has the same link as the second post, both of which work as they are the same. the first post he made did not have the same link when he posted it, As I am sure he will attest to.

Will you name one, please? . . Rostosky, thank you for answering, but I was asking for a reason, not a person. However, it looks like you have also provided me with a reason:
If I had found a way to play rather than download, I would have.
I recommend that you use Notation Composer: http://www.notation.com/DownloadComposerTrial.php. .

If I had found a way to play rather than download, I would have. I recommend that you use Notation Composer: But to use that, one needs to download the blasted MIDI file, and have another object cluttering up your downloads folder.... MIDIs used to play in browsers, but this seems to have become a past-tense technology (perhaps on grounds of technological abuse. Remember the horror of GeoCities sites with rainbow-colored flashing text and auto-playing MIDI background music?)

Hang on Mike, your missing the point a tad dude, are you seriously suggesting I download a thirty day free trial of notation composer, and also download a midi file of someones music, and then have two extra things on my desktop I dont really want?
I allready work in Abelton and reason, playing a midi file is not a problem.
It would be easier if folk stick there midi file into a simple program that has reasonable piano software and export it to youtube as a wav or mp3 or mp4?
That way, many folk can just have a listen without downloading anything.

Well, posting a MIDI file of a performance has some advantages. You get the music notation for the song. Comes in handy if it's not a public domain song.
Me on YouTubeCasio PX-5S. Garritan CFX, Production Grand 2 Gold, Concert Grand LE, AcousticSamples C7, some Sampletekks. Pianoteq 8 Std (Blüthner, SteinGraeber, NY/HB Steinway D).

Tangleweeds, evidently, you missed a post. Here it is again, for your review:

If I was missing something, you would have no trouble at all demonstrating that such is the case.
are you seriously suggesting I download a thirty day free trial of notation composer, and also download a midi file of someones music, and then have two extra things on my desktop I dont really want?
Okay, let's review:
If I had found a way to play rather than download, I would have.
I showed you how to play, rather than download.
I allready work in Abelton and reason, playing a midi file is not a problem.
It obviously is a problm, or you would not be repeatedly complaining about not being able to open a MIDI file without downloading it.
It would be easier if folk stick there midi file into a simple program that has reasonable piano software and export it to youtube as a wav or mp3 or mp4?
The answer to this question is no, it would not be easier. To begin with, it would mean that Dazzie would have to go through one more step. Secondly, it would take many times longer to download the mp3 to the temporary folder. Thirdly, the mp3 would contain far less useful information for those of us who might like to provide useful feedback to Dazzie. All the way around, it is just much better to have Dazzie upload the MIDI.
That way, many folk can just have a listen without downloading anything.
You are misusing the word "downloading". . .
