This is such a wonderful album.I played it repeatedly several years ago until it was indelibly imprinted on my brain forever.I can't find the heartbreaking "Answer Me My Love" on youtube, this is another of my favorites.

Hawg, glad you like my posts, as infrequent as they have been. As I have said before, I have schizophrenic music tastes, and am always happy when one goes over.

Funny that Griffin and Rossy are talking Mendelssohn, in a synchronous twist, I was just assigned Venetian Boat Song Op 19 no 6 only yesterday.

Great posts as usual, everyone.

Wayne, I thought about you last night when I saw a commercial. Here in the States, they are having a Very Gaga Thanksgiving special. Here is the ad for it. Hopefully the full show will pop up online for you.

Hi Aimee! Sounds like you'll probably enjoy the Mendelssohn. Hawg's piano selections can also be very influential. The first time I joined ABF, I heard him play Chopin's "Raindrop Prelude." Guess what I got assigned last spring? I love it! In fact, I need to dash off. My piano lesson is coming up shortly.

I'm getting things pulled together for the Saturday postings. I'll PM some things to you probably on Friday morning that we can discuss.

I loved this Wayne! I have one I'll share probably on Wednesday. Right now, I have to dash off to my piano lesson!

A Hello and a Shout Out to you Wayne! We posted at about the same time. I really liked the Dub post. I'll share one I just collected on Wednesday. I better get to that piano lesson, or I'll miss out!

eglantine i will pm you the secret, so you are in on it. But talking of lemmy.. years ago when he was fronting hawkwind, that "bibble" ( for want of a better word) on his cheek was quite small, then over the years it has grown and grown and is in real danger of becoming a new co-joined lemmy in its own right..
One would think with his money he could afford to have it lopped off.... I would lop it off for twenty quid. ( cash sterling no euros)

Lemmy could get it cut off for free courtesy off the stupid tart pan that sliced off the top of my knuckle tonight.

BillyO thinks cutting it off would be blasphemy, 'cuz you have to accept Lemmy warts and all.

A stupid tart called pan sliced the top of your knuckle AimeeO? that is most distressing, I would not let her in or near your house again. Pan is an odd name isnt it? In the UK it would be Tracy or Jordan most probably.

Anyways, lovely music as allways AimeeO , I am so glad you introduced me to fiona apple, there are a couple of things I like about Diana Krall as well, most stimulating.

I will post some music later, I have the big hill to walk down and up again first.. I really hate that hill, lots.
later dudes and dudettes.

Good Wednesday everyone! Great posts everyone. Aimee, thanks to you I'm enjoying Fiona Apple too. I LOVE Diana Krall!!

I'm going to be a bit scarce today. We're having to pretty up the house for visitors for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Here's one post for now, however. Wayne, this is the one I referred to yesterday. Aston Barrett, "Rebel I Am"

Hey everybody.

Aimee, I liked Fiona. Feel free to accost with her more often!

Over here we don’t celebrate the Thanksgiving Day. It’s a pity, as it seems a beautiful celebration. I wish you all a pretty nice day from this side of the Atlantic!

Ahem! Hya Recaredo glad to see you here.. Rossy has some "issues" with thanksgiving day from a historical and moral standpoint, not wanting to rain on anyones parade, so I wont witter on about it.
Music? let it speak..... happy thanksgiving...really?

If you can't [censored] on about it in this thread, we need to discuss the purpose of life...
