Hi all,

A friend just picked up a Baldwin Hamilton 243 HPO (S/N # 416544) for ... ... $300.

It's oak, I'd guess anywhere from the late 60's to the 80's. It's in pretty darn good condition. The cabinet was not greatly respected (a few drink rings) but the inside looks crisp and clean. It plays nicely.

Does anyone have an idea of the year and the value?

Hey Noel

Manufactured date is 1988 (pierce)and too many variables on value, Used a lot in schools & institutions...Hence the drink rings, cigarette burns & guitar picks inside it....Enjoy

Thats a good price for the piano if your only interested in the sound / touch.

Lots of 243's in this area, older & played a lot!! maybe having it serviced will help bring out the best in it!
