It might be useful to consolidate information in one thread, so here goes. If you have links to new DPs, Synths etc., please post them. Here's the new Studiologic Sledge: http://www.studiologic-music.com/sledge.htmlI'll refrain from making any comment that pertains to previous Studiologic experiences...

The Synthtopia user comments are absolutely hilarious: "Hey Casio, the 90s called, they want their failed paradigms back!"

All Yamaha new products: Yamaha Other than the NU1, the Yamaha DP department seems to be dead / asleep / laid-off.

Other than the NU1, the Yamaha DP department seems to be dead / asleep / laid-off. What the...? Dude, I thought the post about it in the other thread was joking or expressing wishful thinking (it doesn't seem to be in their list of annoucements). The NU1 is a real thing. Interesting and surprizing! Looks like it would weigh almost as much as an acoustic upright, though. Trying to take on the CS6/CS9 I guess.

For the gigging piano player, it looks like Nord is the only one with anything new (and even then, there's not really anything new in its piano functionality). Nothing from Roland, Kawai, Kurweil, Yamaha, Casio, Numa, or (apart for new cosmetics) Korg. Unless I've missed something, or there's something that hasn't been reported yet. (Casio does have some interesting new boards, but not in the piano realm.)

What a letdown: SV-1 I was really hoping. I agree, but it is the kind of update the red-haters would have liked from Nord!

Somewhat OT (SN drums): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQEMAt0nEVEIs it my imagination, or is Roland the only company doing any real innovation lately? It's products like this that really get me excited about synthesis again.

What a letdown: SV-1 I was really hoping. New Colours For Korg SV-1 Stage Vintage Piano"Choose from black-on-black or a retro-red body and reverse-colour keys" What, no new key grease? I guess we're down to mostly just funky new paint jobs this NAMM.

Yes, new sound systems from Roland. They were required to be honest. The HP-307 doesn't really sound that great from the player's perspective. But SN and PHA-III remain just the same (no bad thing of course).
