I haven't had a chance to really make much in the way of comments but I have listened to everyone, really I have whome and hit like for all the youtube performances thumb. This week has been busy, but I did manage to come up with a new recording. I flubbed it in a couple of places, but oh well. Let's kick the red dot's butt! We've had two engagements in our family this Christmas and one wedding within less than a week afterward, so I went with "Two of Us" by the Beatles.

I'll figure it out eventually.
Until then you may want to keep a safe distance.

ladypayne - I'll add my "thirds" to the other replies - this is wonderful! I loved it! thumb I love the musical and this song. Is this from a songbook or a separate sheet?

LBE - You can't go wrong with the Beatles! I really liked this a lot! Wow, what a busy holiday season you've had! Perfect choice in songs.

ladypayne - I really liked the confidence that showed itself in this recording. It sounded like the piece just naturally flowed out from underneath your fingers. I'll bet you've put in a lot of time practicing it smile

Thanks for all the comments on my pieces! The castle on a cloud arrangement is by Lorie Line and is available in her book called Simply Grand. I recommend buying it off Amazon.com though if interested. It's bit expensive on her website or at the local music store. You'll save about 10$ on Amazon.

I am currently uploading all of my written piano sheets onto my blog to make things easier. I also have written out a few more sheets. All free check it out if you want smile Any questions, PM me

This piece never made it to the last e-cital, but I thought to share it here. Last night, the moon was pretty bright.

I just love Moonlight. That was very beautiful Inlanding. I can't wait to learn to play it and watching you play it made me want to do it even worse! LOL

Augustina - not familiar with this (the song or the anime, whatever that is) but nicely done and very relaxing.

P.s. may I suggest that you (and ladypayne) might want to consider elevating your cameras somewhat to give the viewers a better perspective on your hand movements on the keys...

I will try and find a better position for my camera:)

LadyPayne- Castle on a cloud from Les Miserables- I agree with everyone awesome!:P Nice job sister!^_^ I kind of miss our duets:(

Little_Blue_Engine- Two fo Us- Don't know this song, but I Like it!^_^

Inlanding- Moonlight Sonata 1rst movement- A Beatuful piece- And great to listen to first thing in the morning:) You played this piece very well.

Very, very nice Glenn. Just love those relaxed hands. The dynamics showed a lot of control. Enjoyed it.

Elssa - wonderful rendition of one of my all time favorite songs!

BTW - thanks for the photo of yourself last month - finally, the hands are no longer detached!

LBE - lively stuff, jauntily played - although I would like to see more of your hand action too.

Glen - I think this is one of the most beautiful pieces of music. You play this perfectly, I think, the tempo, dynamics, everything. You really make it feel like a "moonlight" sonata!
(We had a gorgeous moon last night, too, although a bit of a foggy one smile )

I have been lurking through a few months of Piano Bar now, and well I love them. Each month I look forward to what will be posted. It is inspiring to think that maybe one day I could get this good.... and it also exposes me to different music which is excellent. (Some of it I add to my list of "tunes I want to learn to play one day") blush I don't know enough to provide feedback to specifics like fingering, tempo and the like, so my only feedback is how much I enjoy watching you all.

Keep 'em coming! smile

Maybe one day here I'll get a real tripod instead of using a bar stool!

Thanks again all for listening and your kind comments!

Augustina - That was an amazing "Amazing Grace" - very nice! smile

LadyPayne - This is a new tune for me, but I really enjoyed it.. lovely, whimsical arrangement! smile

LBE - That's a great Beatles tune which you don't hear too often - well done!

Inlanding
- Beautiful version of Moonlight - you have such a nice smooth style.

Here's one more movie theme song, from one of my all-time favorite movies: BORN FREE smile

Glen - very well executed and sensitively played rendition of the venerable "Moonlight" movement - one never tires of hearing this - it never gets old (sort of like the pieces of Enauldi we hear here frequently, but nevertheless enjoy so much laugh ) - but I wonder why we never hear the other movements from this Sonata - too tough, too long, too boring, all of this? I myself am particularly fond of the highly elusive and thus seldom played 4th movement... smile

Little Blue Engine - I agree with the poster who said you can never go wrong with the Beatles. I don't think I've ever heard this one as an instrumental before and enjoyed listening to your rendition of this great tune.
