Hi!
I'm a swedish piano teacher, and the "level-system" is not so commond here
as it is in USA. But at least i've heard of it, and know a little on how it works.
Now I have a new piano student from China, and apparently she's on level 5 in China, and she wants me to help her prepare for level 6 when she gets back there.
So my question is.. is the level-system the same in China, as in USA?
Were can I find info on what pieces we should prepare for such an graduation?

Hope you can give me some hints.

Kind regards /Mandel

There are several exam systems in China, it's best to ask the parents to get the info for you.

Thank you.
I'll try to ask them... but I think the question from my student, originally came from the parents.. that its them who want me to find out what it takes to graduate. Well I see what they can tell me.
Worst case, I just keep educating my student and hope that what I teach her is enought preparation.
We're working on Chopin Impromptu (fantasie) now.. what grade is that piece in the American system?

I would guess Chopin Impromptu is at least grade 8 (even in China).
