It's Fun to Play the Piano ... Please Pass It On!
John williams is excellent isnt he Griffin? I really enjoyed those! First time I heard him was when he did cavatina, the theme from the dear hunter I believe, wow thats seems like a long time ago! Hope everone is well, I am sorry for not being omnipresent, but have been tied up with stuff, but hopefully I should be around more often very soon... later dudes and dudettes!!!
Hi Rossy! I'm glad you enjoyed John Williams. I had a wonderful time listening to his music. I'm going to listen to more in the future.
I hope things are going well for you. I certainly had my super busy periods , as you know. Hang in there! I'm going to listen to your post a little later when I get to my desktop computer.
BTW, (speaking of busy) has anyone heard from AimeeO? I'm missing her great postings. Aimee, how about at least a check in? You wouldn't want Rossy to start speculating on your whereabouts, would you?
Hey everybody! Get out your dancin' shoes! It's time to go down Memory Lane right now! We haven't heard from Elssa in a while. I'll bet she'll like this. I'll bet Wayne will enjoy it too!
They were sometimes referred to as the "Blue Eyed Soul Brothers." We all know them as the Righteous Brothers! I still love hearing their music, and will never stop.
I've listened to a number of artists' renditions of "Unchained Melody." However when Bobby Hatfield (R.I.P.), one half of the Righteous Brothers, did his performance of it, no one could match it. Even Sam Cook had to move to the sideline on this one (in my not so humble opinion)
Evening guys, hope It's ok to post this.............really contemplated posting it on the "whats in your christmas repertoire" thread lol! (please DO NOT LISTEN IF YOUR EASILY OFFENDED!)
Will go and check out that thread to have a nosey at what it is about! Good one wayne, we can allways count on anyone ex-python crew!

I was fiddling around and thought, "Blue Moon", I can play that. So, I went to You Tube and came across this. I've been around a while but have never heard this version before. I really like this.
Got to laugh at waynes post :.. "I contemplated posting it on the "whats in your christmas repertoire thread" ( But knew you would get into trouble if you did!) so came and posted it here instead! Not too well thought out wayne, but points awarded for the thought!! Its odd, but by some sort of strange fluke /accident/happenstance, community spirit, folk dont get offended here do they? Well, saying that I did once, but that was because I got stalked. Christmas is a time for forgiving and forgetting the past transgressions of folk, so this christmas I have decided to forgive myself.
I have totally forgiven myself for holding a grudge against my siblings and calling them "sadlings" I have forgiven myself for inventing that word. I was almost feeling a little bit bad and guilty when I got one of those "round robin" letters, a printed document off my step brothers wife,
In this "annual circular" she said how well the funeral of my step father went, and called him my step brothers father, she went on to say how her kids had done a really good reading at the funeral,.... In fact how wonderfull the funeral was...
The one my sadlings didnt want me to go to.. so i didnt.
She put this insulting document that she had printed off in a christmas card she sent to us.
This is the type of document that some folk send out each year to everyone they know, saying what had happened in the previous year, and what they expect in the next....
It applies to complete strangers more than it does to me, as it is totally impersonal...
I am angry now... but this will wear off by the aprill recital bar think.
I have just forgiven myself for plotting how to annoy my step brother and sister for christmas....
so any ideas will be gratefully recieved.....

Lol Rossy, suppose I thought people are less shockable here on your thread!
Wayne I tried to be shocked, but I was laughing too hard. Therefore, I sent it to some friends so that they would be shocked too! They weren't, of course, because they're still big fans of Monty Python.
