What do you think about these two models? How do they compare? According to Larry Fine's piano book, the two models are more or less equivalent. I may be able to get a good deal on the AW-69. Alternatively, I could wait for a JP-228 (3/4 of a foot longer) that might materialize at some point (it is a long story wink. Any comments/impressions/opinions you may have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

A bird in hand is better than two in the bush? laugh

Sounds like either would be a nice piano... the longer model is usually a +.

Good luck!

Poli, whereas your last post was some eighteen months ago, I assume you have made your choice, and purchase, by now. I just recently took delivery of my Albert Weber AW69. For my part, rather than compare it to the many other fine instruments I considered, I will just say I believe it is an amazing and beautiful instrument.

I am new to Piano World, but must say the level of expertise, accompanied with the generosity to share it, as exhibited on various forums on PW, is very impressive, and appreciated by this new member.

Congrats. My understanding is that Joseph Pramberger used the Bechstein B as the basis for his design of your instrument. That was one of the most desired instruments of all time.

FYI, he designed the Young Chang Prambergers, not the Samick Prambergers.
