I jammed with a friend tonight and we were playing Countdown using the Jamie Aebersold recording. I couldn't believe how awful it was. They started playing to early like the ending was near and then the bass player misses a few notes and they ended in the middle of the form. How this version could be released is anyone's guess. Come on Jamie one more take. Your influencing the youth of today.

HAHA...Some people struggle to record songs, if they lack the experience from the technical side. It's quite tricky to do...I've recorded band demos and it's very time consuming and hard to get the sound right if your not a sound engineer!

Harold Maybern (p); Ron Carter (b); Adam Nussbaum (d)

There are no mistakes in the form, there's a coda after the last chorus.

I wasn't using lead sheet from the CD. I'll check it out. It still sounds funky. They're implying the ending way to soon. Is this how coltrane recorded?
