And on Sunday my friend Mike Makaverich will be performing with his trio.
Mike is a very talented pianist who obviously enjoys playing. He's also my teacher, although I've only had one lesson (I promise to get back soon Mike).

Jazz festival runs through Sunday.

Brian Culbertson and his band were on fire last night!
They brought the audience to its feet so many times, we decided to stay up there :-)
There is no weak link in his band, they are all top musicians in their own right, including Brian's dad who recently retired from 39 years of teaching high school band.
