Hello,
I just wanted to share with the group my happiness with my new SK3. I've had it for a little over three weeks now, and I love it more every day. The action!

I've included a few pictures (complete with Mr. Potato Head on the shelves in the background -- used for teaching.) You'll notice that the piano is in a very small room. To take the room photo, I had to back up against the back wall, as far from the piano as I could get! I'm still trying to tweak the room for sound, but it's really not bad. I think it will work out fine.

I'd like to thank the good folks at Fort Bend Music Center here in the Houston area for making the purchase such a pleasure! I know that at least a couple of them are members of this forum. (Thank you, Evie, if you're reading! You're the best.) I read in another post that Don Mannino had been there at the store some time back working on the Shigerus, so I presume that mine has been worked on by Mr. Mannino. (Thank you, Don!)

One of the pictures shows the signature of the MPA, Mr. Nobumichi Suzuki.

I'd just like to say that I am really impressed with these pianos and couldn't be happier with my purchase, in case this helps anyone who may be shopping.

Scott

Thanks for posting a picture!

I have not had a chance to touch a Shigeru SK3, or any Shirgeru's for that matter, so can only imagine that it plays as good as it looks!

Hoping you have many years of pleasure! Congratulations!

PS: We are cousins! I have the Kawai RX1.

Beautiful piano. I have played a few pianos by Mr. Nobumichi Susuki; he delivers some really fantastic work. Nice milky attack almost pushing into bright but not quite.
Awesome.

Beautiful piano. Now we know where to find you.
