Title pretty much explains all; I was wondering what experiences you guys have had with a 15 - 20 year old Yamaha C2. Is it still almost the same as a new one? Is there anything that isn't good about old Yamahas?

Like they say in real estate… the three most important things are location, location and location.

With 15 to 20 year old pianos the three most important things are condition, condition and condition…

Yamaha has name brand recognition going for it, but you can still get one that is nearly worn out. Hence, what isn’t good about an older Yamaha is if it is in poor condition.

Let your hands, eyes and ears (and a qualified piano technician) be the judge.

Good luck...
