Thanks for helping me to pick the right stand for my Roland FP7F earlier and now I'm after a suitable bag for FP4 (just bought a white one for good price).

I was using Tom & Will keyboard bag for a while with Casio PX120, but offers little protection. I'd like to have more protection, whilst driving and carrying to recital halls where my 10 year old daughter performs. I'll get a bit of help from her to carry stand or stool, but not for big stage piano.

I'd prefer a hard case, but i think it is bit difficult to climb stairs with huge weight. So I'll be looking for a light weight case has enough padding. These listed below are the ones I found, but feel free to recommend something you have and like the most.

Ultimate support 88 key Keyboard case

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Go to your local music store and you might be surprised to learn that they can make you a case. You can choose the thickness of the walls (keeping the weight down), where the handles go, whether the keyboard remains in the bottom half when you play or if the case is hinged ... and so on.

I had a case custom made years ago (for a very large keyboard) and this case will accommodate any future purchase and will outlive me as well.

Suniil, I would add to your list the Kaces KKP-14KB 88. I have one. It's wheeled (an essential feature, IMO), fits my FP-7F snugly and seems as well made as any.

Check out the cases from Yamaha. I have used one for FP2 and then FP4 for years now - light weight, just big enough, and very durable.
