Spotted this over on the Nord forums - $299, but it looks terrific!

Isn't it a thing of beauty!!!............ looks awesome, but I'm wondering just how well it'll fit on the Stage2 61 or 73 key models due to the pitch-bend and wheel placement.

.....still looks pretty damned hot though.............

I saw on some Japenese or Chinese site some custom built drawbars for the Nords (not sliders like on that picture).

There's another accessory in development by a Spanish (Mexican?) chap, however it doesn't look quite as professional (nor as compact) as this one, in my opinion.

Cheers,

Yes, that's the other one I'm familiar with, however Auver's post suggests that there may be yet one more, produced in Asia.

Man, you got my hopes up - here was me thinking that some crazy Japanese guys had rigged-up their own drawbar accessory...oh well, not to worry. wink

To be honest, I'm surprised Clavia haven't produced one of these add-ons already as an official accessory to the Electro/Stage/C3.

I see no reason why Oceanbeach couldn't make one like the Spanish one........they just need to add the drawbars and invert the battery/power compartment.

Siriosys, what are the benefits of the Spanish accessory over the OceanBeach one?

Cheers,

I"m just looking at it's physical placement and aesthetics . The 'back' of it sits down so it appears to be more "low profile". Also means that one could probably attach velcro to the back of your nord when you want to attach it.........or possibly a set of small fridge magnets underneath it............... assuming this isn't already part of its design

I seem to recall reading on the Nord User Forum that the Spanish one is a permanent modification as it mounts electronics inside the Electro itself. This is one reason why I prefer the OceanBeach approach.
