Hi,

I bought a P-95 and quiklok stand - QLX-21 double tier, unfortunately because of the depth of the piano it sits too high on the stand, I dont know what to do, is there any stands that go lower does anyone know? Because at the maximum lowest tier setting the stand is too high up with the piano on top of it, my arms dont sit comfortably as they have to reach up further than normal, hate it.

The common X-Stand can be made to go very low. Some people don't like them because they say the knees don't fit under the keyboard but really, your knees should not extend farther than the black keys or you are sitting to close.

Drill makes wonders smile I used it in both stands I have. In one very old (simple X) I've made another hole in stand "leg" and I've put a screw inside to have another, lower point for adjusting height.

In newer one (mechanism like the one in this quick lock) I used drill to make one hole a bit bigger in width, about 5mm in this point made a 5cm (!) difference in overall stand height.

yh thanks, I am going to drill another hole next to the lowest hole, there is just enough room for one more hole smile I think its stupid they dont go lower these expensive quiklok ones, what are they thinking.
