I am going to buy a used piano for my 7 year old daughter. I saw this one on craigslist. Yamaha U1 made in Japan in early seventies, looks nice, ask for 2500, is that a resonable price?
thanks.

Thanks for quick reply, another w w Kimball asks for only $1500, same black mondern look as that U1, but I don't know this brand. if they are from same time, would the kimball be a better candidate?

Avoid the Kimball. I think I would take the 70s U1 over a new Kimball.

If you could up a budget a bit, a newer piano would be better money spent.

Kimball is a bad brand and $2500 is too much for an old U1.
