Thanks for having your 1000th here wayne!! yeeha!!
We havent been up too long so havent eaten yet! Mrs R picked up a pot of duck and rasperry pate, and a wild boar pate, she loves pate and gets these seasonal special ones in for chrimbo, then eats them, then buys them again, its sort of like a tradition. Like easter eggs, you buy em for your kids, then get the midnight munchies, eat them and have to buy em all over again, its the rule.

I've been working on this:

Left hand riff and triplets right hand. Not too hard at all.

and this (sans solo):

Pretty pleased with what I have concocted as an arrangement, if I say so myself.

How's it going Captain K? I enjoyed both of your posts. I particularly liked Orleans' "Dance With Me." It must be lots of fun working on them. I just got done practicing the piano and am just relaxing. How are things in AussieLand?

A warm Christmss sounds wonderful Rossy. I once had to go to California in early December on a family related matter and the temps were in the low 20s. It was very pleasant. However, it was strange seeing Christmas decorations outdoors with palm tres, no snow, etc. It just didn't seem right. I did enjoy the warm weather, however. smile

Maybe it’s a bit early, but here is a popular Christmas Song, from the South of Spain.

The translation to English can be read here:

Have you all a great Saturday!

Hi Recaredo! I loved the Christmas song you posted. I hope you'll share some more. It's not too early as far as I'm concerned. I'll share one of my favorites. "Mary Had a Baby" is a traditional African American Christmas spiritual. However, I discovered this version sang in the gospel style of many African American churches.

Enjoy!

Thanks Recaredo! I'm glad you enjoyed the Christmas song. I loved the one you shared as well. I was thinking of posting a few more on Sunday. I found a recording of the same song performed by Jessye Norman sung in the more traditional style of the spirituals. I'll probably include it with my Classical Sunday postings.

I hope you will have something to post too. Rossy, Wayne, and Aimee seem to be pretty busy right now. I can certainly understand that.
