Yeah...my teacher recommended it to me, and he chose well. Now, if only I can get the LH opening as even as I want...

Oh yeah, I'll toss in the 6th Hungarian Rhapsody (ugh, my wrists!) but I'm not as sure about Chasse-neige anymore. I'll let you know...

That's great, but you are 4 months early. On Liszt's birthday (or thereabouts), we will upload all to a site that will have all the recordings together, courtesy of Gerg who has created a site to house the various e-citals we've been having.

Thanks for adding me.

The Chant Polonaise "Wiosna" should be with the transcription pieces. The original composition is from Chopin's op. 74, a set of songs for voice and piano. Liszt transcribed 6 of these from that set, and "Wiosna" is only one from that subset. I just recently learned that smile

I just finished La Campanella, and I hope I might be able to make a respectabele recording before 22nd october =) If I don't I have to drop it, I hope it's ok? I don't learn to fast since I'm still a kinda a newbie in this game.

I can make one on Liebestraum no.3 unless jazzyproof want's to be the only one with that one :p I don't know if I will get time to finish hungarian Rhapsody no.6, but I think I will finish Schubert/Liszt - Frühlingsglaube. I ruffly learned the first of the 3 pages yesterday, so it's not to much of a timeconsumer =)

I still haven't started on mine.. I just got assigned the second Scherzo (Chopin) and I don't know if I'll have the time to learn the Mephisto Waltz (3rd). We'll see..

I'm not sure if I could do the Consolations still. I have to bring the Grand Galop Chromatique out and rememorize and dust it off.

Piano Sonata K.333 - Mozart
WTC Prelude and Fugue in D Major, Bk 1 - Bach

I'd do Jeux d'eaux as i'm practicing it thoroughly now, but i don't think i'll be able to compete with Brendan. Maybe if he drops. In any case, i'm looking forward to the ecital!
