Dear all,

i thought i might inform you about this. i was just browsing on ebay, not buying just browsing. I came across a listing of grands being sold due to the company being liquidated. Maybe some of you would be interested (i cannot afford it nor have the space where to put it grin)

So here's the link Ebay Baby Grand piano site

Good luck, and let me know even what quality these are/brand etc, i'm curious.

Anna

Oh really? is it a good catch? Well anyway i just bought an upright and have no money/room for a grand, i'd have to get rid of my dining/sitting furniture and i doubt i can sit watching tv on the piano stool comfortably LOL!

For that price, it is really amazing. C1 is 5'3", and is a reasonably nice piano for it's size. It's a quality built piano, and will last A reasonably long time.

A very good deal.

"Must be liquidated immediately"
So, what exactly does that REALLY mean?

Isn't this the exact same tactic that Rogers Piano is being sued by the State of Massacusetts for?

I would think that if it is a C1 that the seller would say so. What would he have to lose? If the store is closed what does he care if he loses the line for going below map?

It looks like a trap for those looking for a deal too good to be true.

"Call us for details". Perhaps a dealer trying to sell out of his territory without getting caught?

All of the pianos I saw that this guy listed are the most inexpensive of the Chinese offerings.

Looks like the same seller that sold a member here a Charles Walter 175 for half of my wholesale cost. That piano was very dirty and the salesman was not very helpful but the price was truly fantastic.

And yes that is a Taylor.

Hey, Rod, does he have another Walter for that price? grin I can clean it up. cool

Ii notice in his item listings he says BRAND NEW on a couple of pianos, but when you look at the description within the listing he says they are used. The photos look like new pianos on a sales floor with manufacturer's tags hanging from them. Of course, they would not have a new piano warranty even if new, so maybe that's what is meant.

Wow, some of you have a very good sense of observation, so these are mainly chinese brands at slashed prices.... interesting, although i would never buy a piano from ebay if i'm not able to try it up, but maybe some of you can smile. Thanks for all the replies, and i'm glad i posted something someone else found interesting laugh
