There are so many things I would like to do to a mouse in my fantasies. I would teach it how to play piano, speak the English language, cook, etc. Too bad this isn't my fantasies. I am a very easy person to freak out. The last night, I was on the computer, and I hear something rustling very near by. My first guess of course is our little fellow friend, the mouse. I was right it would seem, as I found a bunch of torn up Hershey's Kisses rappers behind the printer on my mom's desk. My best guess is that he likes his sweets, but somebody should tell him that he didn't finish his dessert as I saw the remains of a kiss leftover on the table. Hopefully this is the last mouse, and I hope it is a male, thus it won't produce babies.

The first trap did nothing but catch... my dog. There was a piece of dog food on the sticky trap and he got his foot stuck in it(lucky not his nose). There is but one sticky trap left to kill this mouse off. I placed it on my mom's desk behind the printer for now, but soon, I may have to step up the game and go to completely lethal traps. Besides that, any suggestions to keep this mouse out of my pantry. They can squeeze through underneath doors. I have seen it happen. I think they can get in a cabinet door fairly easily. I would like to live many years to play piano, but I can't do that if I end up with some incurable disease from a mouse... I just finished Fur Elise in recital. Let me live to play 1812 Overture in recital as well. smile

Have you tried this brand of mouse trap?

Or this one?

Or this one?

P.S. You might have to keep your dog (and any small children) outside for a while.

Is meant as some kind of a sick joke? If it is, it's not funny -- at all. And if it's not meant as a joke, it's just sick.

p.s. In case you think 'sticky traps' are better than 'completely lethal' ones, they mean death by slow torture. Which kind of 'lethal' would you perfer if it were your own execution?

Now there's a good question.

Questioning people's reactions to the presence of drivel ... not so much.

FWIW, the only reason I clicked on this thread is because I thought 'another mouse' referred to replacing a computer mouse ... perhaps with a trackball (something I have done myself and like very much).

It would appear, given that this is (at least) the second such thread, that there is no where else that Tyler can discuss his domestic concerns, not even with his family.

Nonetheless, this is hardly the place.
