I have two keys I'm trying to replace. I have the replacement keys but can't figure out how to get the old key off. I tried taking one of the end keys off and just broke the plastic piece that holds it to the keyboard. Please help. Thanks.

Pictures are your friend...From what you described, I have no idea what you are talking about.

Which Privia model do you have?

In general, I think it's really tough to work on these things without a service manual. You have to open them up, and know which screws have to come out (and which don't) and in what order to make sure you can easily put it back together again!

Not sure how that DP works. I've replaced some keys before. A lot of times, they came in a complete set of 12.
I think when you take the lid off, the keys need to be unconnected of the top plate (if they are) and then just screwing them off.. Usually indeed where you have broken the plastic. Best hting to do is open it, and take pictures of every step.

Also, if you want help on it here, maybe it's good to provide some pictures.

clayton,
Are you talking about the molded piece of plastic that the back of key pivots against? On a Privia the back of the key fits into a plastic keeper with plastic nipples on each side that hold the back of the key in place. The front of the key has a hole that the end of the hammer slides into. If you have broken the molded plastic that holds the back of the key this piece is molded to the keybed and you are probably looking at replacing the keybed itself. Might be better off buying a new piano for what they will want to replace the keybed.
