Hello everyone

This is my last compare of some DP's.
First, I've considered the Yamaha P-95 and the Korg SP-250. The SP-250 won the first dilemma. Then, I've compared the SP-250 and the Yamaha P-155. The P-155 won the second dilemma.
And now, for the last dilemma:
I wonder if I should get the Yamaha P-155 or the more expensive (don't care about the price) Roland FP-4 (WH). So, if you can help me make my descicion, I would really appreciate it. The FP-4 is something more expensive, but I've heard the sounds and it sounds magnificant...So if I would want to give some money out, get the FP-4, right?

Thank you grin

Michael,

If you have the budget, a new FP-4F - or better still, the FP-7F, will give you the best sound that Roland has to offer, and their latest actions (FP-7F has their top PHAIII action).

I owned an RD-300GX which uses the same action that's in the FP-4, and I've played on the P155, and I personally preferred the action of the P155, but the sound of the Roland. I'd say play both if you can.

Hi Michael,
I don't know if you saw my thread 'Help Please: Yamaha P155 or Roland FP4?'
Roland FP4 Thread

It may be of interest to you.

All the best with your decision.

If you like a sound or even more important, a touch, then go for it. Just because somethings the latest doesn't make it the greatest.

For instance, if given a choice between a brand new Lincoln or say a 1970 lincoln continental, id go for the older without a thought.

It's all about tastes and what you enjoy.

Check out the other thread. Don't forget FP-4F has better piano sound and display than FP-4.

Are you sure you want white version? smile

I know, but the sound of the FP-4 is also wonderful, and the FP-4 is the limit for my budget. I'm going for it.

And why wouldn't I want the white version? shocked
